Common questions

Do families need an account?

No. You share one link and they open it. There is nothing to sign up for. Families who want a reminder when you post new homework can add the class in the Chalkline app instead — still with no account.

Someone has my class link who should not

Open the class, go to Settings, and regenerate the join code. The old link and any printed QR code stop working immediately, and you can share the new one.

What is the Chalkline Supporter membership?

It is optional. Every teaching feature is free for everyone; supporters fund development and get colour themes, app icons, exports, and reusable activity templates. Manage or cancel recurring support in your Apple or Google account settings.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. On the web, go to chalkline.club/account/delete. Deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead so you can change your mind; sign in during that time to cancel it.
